if you want to make a real change, you don't want to write a complicated codes of conducts that nobody understand… starting from the trust worthy and reliable image the we have, we are setting our goals even higher and are aiming at delivering that meaningful purpose. we call it " bitterness". by making sure the goods we produce have a meaningful purpose, it should lead Moderna to be that future proof supplier supporting all her stakeholders. we will not get there overnight. its a step by step process, being consistent, and remaining fully focused on where we want to go.
as controversial as it may seem,- we keep on saying that plastics are great. or, if we may rephrase I: they are great when used responsibly. the real issue is how they have been used… or how the have been 'abused'.
rest assured, at Moderna we have been embracing durability since day one. sourcing premium raw materials and manufacturing multi-use items that last a lifetime and that are 100% recycable, is all part of our vision on ecology. along with a well tough through process of optimum logistic. but its also our duty, wherever we can, to help restore what went wrong in the past on a global scale.
Making a change starts within… and that's exactly what we are doing. With a hands-on mentality we're taking on our design- and manufacturing processes to transform them even further into responsible and smart. Our answer to tackling the environmental challenges is based on 4 R’s:

MODERNA doesn’t develop single use items, but instead only products we can ‘re-use’.

The need to ‘re-duce’ is massive which is why we are focusing on delivering high quality, long-lasting products.
re education
‘Re-educating‘ consumers is key to achieving behaviour change in this complex matter. Clear communication on how and why MODERNA is participating is instrumental in this.
